Laboratory Fume Hood
Metal Compact Line – ducted fume hoods for laboratory applications
The POL-EKO Metal Compact Line (DCL) series offers modular laboratory fume hoods designed for connection to an extraction system, providing reliable protection for the user, the environment and the testing process.
The series is available in various sizes (1200 / 1500 / 1800 mm) and with several interior lining options, allowing it to be selected precisely for the specific chemical load and laboratory requirements.
The DCL fume hoods comply with the requirements of the EN 14175 series of standards (Parts 1–2–3), as certified by an independent accredited testing laboratory.
Available size options:
The Metal Compact Line fume hoods are available in three standard widths:
- DCL 1200 – a compact solution for smaller laboratories, education and routine use
- DCL 1500 – a versatile size with a larger work area and improved ergonomics
- DCL 1800 – a spacious work area for intensive, parallel laboratory operations
All three sizes share the same technical platform; the difference lies in the width of the work area and the operating capacity.
Available interior lining options – by application
One of the main advantages of the Metal Compact Line series is that the fume hoods are available with different interior materials, allowing selection to be tailored precisely to the chemicals used.
LM – laminated interior lining
- General-purpose, with good chemical resistance
- For teaching laboratories and routine chemical work
- For handling dilute acids, solvents and basic chemical reactions
PP – polypropylene interior lining
- Outstanding resistance to acids and alkalis
- For wet chemistry procedures and analytical and environmental laboratories
- Particularly recommended for aggressive acidic environments
CR – ceramic interior lining
- Premium version with exceptional chemical and heat resistance
- For concentrated acids and highly aggressive chemicals
- For intensive industrial and research use
SS – stainless steel interior lining
- Mechanically robust, hygienic and easy to clean
- For pharmaceutical, biotechnology and cleanroom environments
- Long service life under demanding conditions
HF – Hydrogen fluoride -specific version
- Specially optimised for use with hydrogen fluoride
- Maximum corrosion resistance in extreme chemical environments
- For research and industrial applications
