Krüss refractometer
Digital refractometers – Maximum accuracy in refractive index and concentration measurement
KRÜSS DR series – Digital refractometers for precise refractive index and concentration measurement
KRÜSS DR series digital refractometers are designed for the rapid, high-accuracy determination of refractive index (RI) and various concentrations. The stable optical system, high-resolution sensors and integrated Peltier-based temperature control ensure reproducible, reliable measurement results—even for temperature-sensitive samples.
The instruments are an ideal solution for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, where measurement accuracy and process stability are essential requirements. The DR series automatically calculates the most commonly used parameters, such as Brix, refractive index and various concentrations, and also allows the use of user-defined scales.
The modern 7.0-inch capacitive touchscreen and intuitive user interface ensure easy operation. The instrument features a chemically resistant sapphire measurement prism and a stainless steel sample chamber, providing durability, easy cleaning and hygienic operation. It also supports the connection of an external keyboard, mouse and barcode scanner, enabling seamless integration into laboratory and production environments.
The system features factory-calibrated measurement optics and stable temperature control, providing high accuracy across the specified measurement range. LIMS compatibility, exportable measurement data and expandable software functions effectively support quality-assurance processes.
