POL-EKO ATEX laboratory refrigerators – safe storage of potentially explosive samples
ATEX laboratory refrigerators are specifically designed for the safe storage of chemical and laboratory samples that may create an explosive atmosphere. The units meet the requirements of ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and are suitable for use in Zone 2 environments.
CHL ATEX refrigerators feature an explosion-proof chamber that minimises the risk of ignition sources, thereby ensuring maximum protection for samples and the laboratory environment.
Explosion-proof design – ATEX-certified
The internal chamber of the units has an explosion-proof (Ex) design with the following ATEX marking:
II 3/- G Ex h IIC T6 Gc/-
- The chamber interior is suitable for Zone 2 potentially explosive gas atmospheres
- The refrigerator contains no spark-generating components
- The design complies with EN ISO 80079-36
- The interior is safe even in the presence of gases such as hydrogen or acetylene
