Hamilton TLC syringes are specifically designed for thin-layer chromatography applications, where precise and reproducible sample spotting is essential.
The first 19 mm of the needle has a PTFE coating that reduces surface tension between the needle and the liquid. This ensures stable droplet formation and enables uniform, controlled sample application onto TLC plates.
Key features:
- PTFE coating on the needle tip for consistent droplet formation
- excellent reproducibility during TLC spotting
- accurate, controlled sample application
- suitable for routine and research TLC applications
Available designs:
- Cemented-needle (N) TLC syringes
- Removable-needle (RN) TLC syringes, where the TLC needle can be fitted to the syringe as a standard removable needle
TLC syringes are available in multiple volume and needle-diameter options, making them easy to adapt to the specific analytical method and sample requirements.
Typical applications:
- Spotting samples onto TLC plates
- separation of organic compounds
- rapid qualitative and quantitative analyses
TOC syringes– Carbon Analyzer Syringes
Hamilton Carbon Analyzer syringes are specifically designed for TOC (Total Organic Carbon) analysers and water analysis applications where accurate sample introduction and a system-compatible connection are essential.
These syringes feature a special cemented connection that provides a precise, secure fit to the carbon analyser inlet. The design minimises dead volume and maintains consistent measurement accuracy.
Key features:
- special cemented connection on the syringe barrel
- tapered Luer-style connector for stable sample introduction
The plunger and syringe barrel are not interchangeable, ensuring long-term measurement stability.
Applications:
- TOC analysers
- drinking water analysis
- environmental analysis
- laboratory water quality control
Precise mechanical fit and robust materials ensure reliable, long-lasting operation, even in demanding laboratory environments.
